To join a nation, use the Nations Guide in your inventory. It will notify everyone that you're looking to join a nation.
Managing a nation isn't as simple as being a member. However, anyone can create a nation. Begin by looking at the Dynmap and find a spot to start your nation at.
To start your nation, use the Create Nation option on the Nations menu (/nations) or type /nation create [name], where the [name] is your nation's name. Name the nation after a real country or region corresponding to the geographic area you're starting it in.
To get 5 members, the minimum for making a land claim, you can invite people on the server, including your friends, using the Invite button in the Nations menu.
To get your first $85, sell any material you want on the Nations Shop, accessible through /shop or through the Nations Menu. To check your balance, open the Nations menu and hover over Balance. Your balance can also be accessed through /nbal.
To turn your money into claimblocks, do /nation claimblocks. To start your land, do /lands create [name]. You can either name your land the same name as the nation, or name it after a state or federal entity its geographic location corresponds to. To claim the chunk you're standing on, type /claim.
